Course Updates

Saxon Woods hosted a Met Area PGA Qualifier for the NY State Open on Tuesday. The course is in the best condition I've seen it in years. They've even marked most of the course. Great job Buddy, Scottie and the rest of the gang on all your hard work.

Results from the qualifer round can be found here. Our own Phil Sigona entered, but failed to make the cut. Two players tied for the low score of 69, and the cut line fell at 72.

Rules Corner

I don't have anything for this week, but I will remind everyone that the USGA Rules of Golf govern all play in Saxony events, except where modified by the Saxony Club Local Rules.

If there's a rules question you would like to see discussed here, please email the Webmaster at webmaster@thesaxonclub.com.
