Spring 2015

It seems that even without a Golf Show there will be golf this year. The annual event at Westchester County Center was cancelled for lack of Spring. They said lack of interest, but same thing - who can get interested when it's still winter out there? Nevertheless there are those who believe that all it will take for us to get out there is a couple more revolutions of the planet. The County says they're targetting a March 25th opening. I'm not so sure. Here's the view from the parking lot on Sunday...

There's a lot left to thaw. The fairways on #5 and #6 are still three feet below a complete blanket of snow. But wait - you already knew all this - and what's with the pessimistic website attitude? There's a ton of good news out there. Top of the list - the Pro Shop is Open! Da Boyz Are Back!

Getting Ready

A little scruffy, but just as handsome and hard at work setting up the Pro Shop. They'll be back to beautiful by the time you get there. And just to let you know what we're in for - Charlie started off the year with a bang. There's another oversize check above the register for $1,500 from a January event.

The planets and the people are aligning. Our golf season will arrive. Somehow Mother Nature will pull off the miracle of Spring and we will be back out there with new equipment, renewed enthusiasm and a fresh new start. I know it's only days away, but still it seems sooo far off. Come On Spring!
