If you haven't been out yet this year, you're in for a treat.  The course has been cleaned up beatifully.  The fairways are dry.  The greens have been rolled.  Our new Manager, Mike Belmont has the place in top shape.  Get out there and play.

Don't forget to check in for "Tweets From the 1st Tee" which will be updated first thing Saturday with news from the Starter's Shack.

A Message From the President

January 27,2011

Dear Saxony Club Members,

I hope everyone a great start to the New Year and is surviving all the recent snow storms. I am writing to let everyone know that your new officers have started planning for the new season and also to send out the Saxony Club Member sign up form for 2011. So, attached you will find the Membership Sign up form along with a letter updating everyone on our recent planning meeting. The form and the dues are officially due back by March 1st so I wanted to get this around to everyone asap. The EZ Reserve time starts 4/2/11 this year and Dan will be distributing the tournament schedule for the year. However, I'm sure the the Saxony Club Opening day Scramble and luncheon will be within first week or two of EZ Reserve starting in April so it would be good if all members could get their forms and dues in by March. PLEASE MAKE SURE TO UPDATE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION WHEN COMPLETING THE SIGN UP FORM! and send it back to me. (address is on the form) In addition to the Membership sign up form attached is a letter summarizing our recent meeting of Club Officers. We will invite all members for full meeting of the Saxony Club Membership to share all club business that is being planned for the end of February. Look forward to seeing you all soon.

Andy

Note From The Webmaster

early 2011

This page is a work in progress - way too much work and not that much progress so far.  I want this to be usable and informative; a site you visit every week for updates on the group and our goings on.  I want it to be a site you are proud of and that represents the Saxony Club appropriately.

Please - explore, click around - look at what's on the site and think of ways to improve it - or just plain correct it.  Look for things that aren't working or need fixing; that don't look right or that should be easier to find.  I'm open to anything that makes this a better experience.

Especially I want to know what else you think should be here.  Content that you would like - or better yet - that you would be willing to provide.  A history of the club, photographs, a weekly blog of your foursome's adventures or tales from previous rounds - all would be greatly appreciated.

Help me in any way you can think of to make this a better site.  And if all you can do is point out a broken link - well that counts too.  After all , every one of us is better at pointing out swing flaws than swinging, so I expect some pointed remarks.  Please send 'em all.
