Golf Season is Here

News & Conditions
Crocuses in Bloom, Willows with leaves -
it's April - time for The Masters and Saxony Club Golf. The
Masters may be over, but we can still look forward to the Opening
Day Scramble next weekend. Five more dasys to shake
the rust off our winter swings. Weather was perfect last Saturday
and (again)
they let us off in spite of a little front. Mike Belmont is
making a difference.
Mike
is also making a bit of noise about No Shows for the EZ reserve: 6
people missed times this morning without cancelling. Mike was not
happy he turned away some singles, then had open spots. He says
he might start enforcing the county policy (see Tee Time Page) and
charging if the reservation is not cancelled. Be warned.
We have 40 people signed up for the Scramble with only 9 times.
So we're going to squeeze a group out early. The first off will go at 6:21. To check your tee time go
to the Opening Day page (under
Tournaments &
Events), or use links to the right. You can also print out a custom card for your group from the Groups/Times page.
Remember that after the golf Andy will be running a Club Meeting and looking for decisions on the Agenda below. So come prepared to discuss and vote.
Don't forget to check in for "Tweets From the 1st Tee" which will be updated first thing Saturday with news from the Starter's Shack.
